How we work with individuals:
Manor Road as a supported living scheme also aims to support the individuals we support to gain daily living skills and to be more independent. We also support the individuals we care for to regain lost skills as well as getting more confidence in the activities they will be currently engaging in. At Manor Road, we support individuals to engage in activities tailored to meet the needs of individuals with autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties and disabilities as well as challenging behaviours. We aim to ensure individuals are stimulated through engaging them in interactive activities. In our local community, we have various activities that the individuals we support do. Some of the activities are cycling at Sutton Arena, bowling at Carrington super bowl, dance aerobics at Phoenix Centre, swimming, golf at Oaks golf club and gym at Westcroft Leisure Centre, trampoline, Tuesday club and cookery club.
Due to the consistent support we provide at Manor Road, we have manged to attract a lot referrals from Hillingdon, Haringey and Lambeth councils.
